Whats the difference???(Vet.)?
ok i really want to become a Vet. n im ding some research n i dound different types n im wondering whats the difference? i just want to be one of those Vets that work like in a hospital with dogs, cats and all that. These are some kind that i found: Veterinarian/Government, Veterinarian/Livestock ,Veterinarian/Military , Veterinary Technician , Veterinarian/Equine , Veterinarian/Small Animal ect. plz help im an Jr. and in 2 years im graduating.Im planning to go to UC Davis but i also want to have other univerisities in mind just incase i dont get accepted. if u can plz let me know of other skools i might want to attend to thx. =]

When you go to vet school, you will do rotation through all the disciplines so you will get a chance to sample them all before you have to choose. So don’t worry about it now. A friend of mine who was interested in small animal ended up in equine and another that started with large animal (specializing in cattle) ended up in exotics. So keep an open mind.
